What Happens in the Solicitor Review?
A qualified family law solicitor will review your SmartJudge report alongside the financial information you provide.
The hour-long session is structured around your report. This means the solicitor can focus their time on advising you rather than gathering background information from scratch.
What you can expect
- A review of whether the AI’s analysis is consistent with current law and recent case decisions
- Identification of any figures or assets that should be professionally verified before negotiating - for example, pension values, business interests, or property
- Practical advice on your realistic range of outcomes and what a court would be likely to order
- Guidance on the process - whether that means reaching a negotiated agreement, using a mediator, or proceeding to court
- A clear explanation of next steps, including what a consent order is and why it matters
- Discussion of fixed fee options, if applicable, to draw up the necessary legal agreements for divorce
This route is designed for people who want a professional view and some direction, but are not yet ready to instruct a solicitor on a full retainer. At £300 (including VAT) it offers excellent value and will help you understand where you stand before committing to a course of action.

- Reviewed your report and noted any sections you want to discuss or challenge
- Checked that your SmartJudge report is based on up to date valuations (such as pensions and mortgage balances)
